INSTRUMENTAL ARCHITECTURE
When coming to realize ideas in a project, we find a crucial role for choosing the right set of architectural instruments in use, a choice that effects the quality and the success of a project. The architectural instruments themselves can evoke and assimilate ideas into a project. In a way, the architectural tool becomes part of the project's idea.
We emphasize the use of architectural tools that make design process more effective and flexible, tools that help to connect between shapes and ideas, concrete with abstract, connecting the building with its uses, environment, society, time, technology etc…, as well as choosing tools that enable giving a clear and unique identity to each project.
Among those tools may find – series of typologies, transformations, diagrams, isometries, folds, disassembly and assembly, figure and background, parametric tools and more…

Since establishing the studio in 2015,
engaged with varied types of projects,
as urban housing, pedestrian bridges
and public buildings, as well as winning
awards in open competitions. Approaches each new project as an opportunity for learning, improving and sharpening the architectural methods and character.

Before establishing the studio, had gained wide experience at Bar-Orian Architects office, leading some major projects and many urban housing projects in all steps of the architectural process, from sketch to construction supervision. These were important years of developing and shaping strong base and architectural skills (2008-2015).

2020 - 3rd Prize - Hebrew Language Academy, Jerusalem.

2017 - 2nd Prize - Medicine Students Dormitories, Haifa.

2011 - 3rd Prize - SOUNDROOM Rehearsal room, Madrid.
2008 - 1st Prize - Public spaces design in Ramon officers school.
As undergraduate student, with Na'amat Zidan.
Awards as freelance and as salaried employee -
2020 - 1st Prize - Dezeen Awards - Public vote winner in infrastructure project category - Pedestrian bridge at the Technion Entrance Gate. As freelance for Schwartz Besnosoff Architects.
2017 - 1st Prize - Footbridge Awards, by BRIDGE magazine,
Long span category - Be'er-Sheva High-Tech Park Bridge. As salaried employee for Bar-Orian Architects.
